The Brooks Motel carries a rich legacy dating back to its origins as The Hils Holiday House in the early 20th century. This historic retreat, nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley, has been a popular destination for travelers seeking the serenity and beauty of this unique region.
In June 2023, the property began a new chapter with its current owners. Collaborating with expert designer, Patrick McBride of Tillett Textiles, we meticulously renovated, blending historical charm with modern touches. The Brooks Motel emerged as a symbol of this harmonious fusion of past and present.
Guests at The Brooks Motel are immersed in an atmosphere where comfort meets style. Our accommodations, featuring playful custom furnishings inspired by 1960s Scandinavian Modern Plycraft techniques, offer a boutique experience. Each room is adorned with vibrant art from local artists, and every detail, from the plush memory foam beds to the premium cotton linens, is thoughtfully curated to ensure an experience that is both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
As The Brooks Motel reopened its doors in January 2024, it continues its storied tradition of hospitality. With a commitment to providing affordable luxury, the motel stands as a testament to timeless design and enduring charm.
