The location was great, beautiful and peaceful and close to where I needed to be. The hot water however took a VERY long time and I hated wasting all that water for it to get acceptable to bathe. The kitchen also wasn’t as well equipped as I would have liked–no bowls for example.

I have stayed at The Brooks a few times during on week days. It is minimalist, clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient.

Communication was quick and the recommendations were terrific! We were very thankful for the flexible check in times and the area is beautiful

Cute and quaint accommodation, close to Hudson, NY, and Great Barrington, MA. The bed was very firm. The parking lot was a bit chaotic, and the walls are very thin. We heard neighboring rooms’ dogs barking and people coming and going throughout the night. The floors are concrete but were provided with spa slippers which was a nice touch.

Very comfy and clean, hosts were kind, helpful, and super responsive. Highly recommend!

Positive: Convenient to where we needed to be Negative: The check in since there is no front desk. Everything is done remotely. The heat was locked out so we were not able to adjust the thermostat up. Some friends of ours didn’t have bath towels in their rooms. Only hand towels.

Great spot, clean, nice resting zone

I have been house hunting in the Berkshires so I have stayed at The Brooks quite few times. I love it! I find it to be comfortable, clean, convenient and reasonably priced during the week. Although it is right on a main road it is quiet and peaceful even on the full nights. It is located just outside the center of Hillsdale which is a lovely spot with a great coffeeshop, brewpub and the Rail Trail. The staff is responsive and helpful and check-in is a breeze. I recommend The Brooks.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for an overnight trip to Hudson and because it was last minute, we ended up having to stay outside of Hudson. The Brooks Motel was about 20 minutes away so we ended up staying here. As far as motels go, it’s pretty cute and the self check-in is convenient. The walls are a bit thin so we could hear some people nextdoor talking loudly pretty late into the night. If you need a quick stay in the area, this is a pretty good option. I do think it’s expensive for what it is, but so is everything these days.

The Brooks Motel looked exactly like the listing. The location was very peaceful and relaxing. Wish had better outside lighting, We walked up the porch and didn’t realize we stepped mud and got a little on the carpet. We would definitely return

I have stayed at the Brooks a couple of times. It is clean, simple, comfortable and convenient. The town of Hillsdale which is 2 minutes down the road has all you need including a lovely walk on the Rail Trail. I have only stayed at the Brooks during the week so it is less expensive than on the weekends which I imagine get busy. I recommend it!

It was as expected , the surrounding area was nice and not far from Bash bish falls which was a highlight

We were in town for one night to pick up a camper that we recently purchased and stayed one night here. It was perfect. Clean, quaint, and close to a brewery where we had dinner. Definitely be back should the opportunity present itself.

Had a lovely time staying at The Brooks! Check in was super easy and the place was spotless. The bed was very comfortable after a long day exploring the area! Overall the room is comfy for a great price in a beautiful area!

Stylish, minimalist, very clean and comfortable bed. Great value and a great base to explore the area. Hillsdale is a beautiful town with lots of history and great food and drink options. We spent the day hiking to Bash Bish falls and the historic iron mill (complete with its miniature train).

Needed a last minute stay ~ The Brook’s was a great option with flexible and self assisted check in. The place was very clean and super easy to find. It had all the amenities we needed ~ great place to stay in the area!

Nice minimalist accommodation in a quaint location.

I spent three nights here in early October and had a great stay. It was quiet and relaxing. There’s a supermarket in town as well as some cute places to eat. There are some beautiful hiking trails in the area and the fall colors are magnificent at this time of year.
