Positive: So so clean! Great great great!!! Best place I’ve stayed in!!

Positive: The staff was super friendly and understanding, quick response to questions and made self checking quick and easy. Rooms were decorated with affordable materials in a creative way that looks nice, rooms were really clean and beds were white and well made. Negative: The shower curtain in room 21 was just a little short so the water would spill out onto the floor. Also a curtain or some kind of an option to cover the window in the bathroom would be preferable.

The house was spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. The house is in a great location, Upon checkout the cleaning crew was parked outside the front door waiting for us to leave before the 11a checkout time. This put a big damper on an otherwise pleasant stay

This place was perfect for my stay. It’s small, basic set up, clean and comfortable. I was simply looking for a place to stay at night, not a hang out. Small fridge, no microwave which would have been nice to have. Bed was comfy and bathroom was clean. Life is good.

Positive: Nicely renovated. Negative: There was a bit of a bad smell in the room and the kitchenette counter wasn’t clean.

Such a great find! Will definitely be back If going to Tanglewood or Kripalu!

Listing was as advertised, straightforward rooms with easy self check-in. Not sure of the property’s history, but it appears to have gotten a bit of the “landlord special,” which isn’t as visible in the photos. Still a fine place to stay at a good price point.

Great spot to stay after Tanglewood which is about 35 min away. Very cozy bed, updated decor and bath, park outside your room. Sweet Pea Diner for breakfast and great farmers market on Saturday made for a great getaway.

The Brooks Motel is a nice option to stay for the Berkshire. It was a relatively short drive to Stockbridge (~20-30 mins) and other towns nearby. The entrance to the motel is easy to miss (especially in the dark) but do trust your google maps instructions using the address they provided. The management is less responsive through Airbnb platform and text at night (after 10 pm) but is very responsive if you call the number provided. Overall, a great stay.

Convenient, comfortable and affordable.

We had a great stay at The Brooks. It was just as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Hosts were responsive. A great place for an overnight in the area. Loved the Roe Jan Brew Pub. Hillsdale is a great location close to Western MA and northern CT.

We stayed a night at The Brooks during a quick trip to the Berkshires, and the room was clean and the bed and the linens comfortable. We had a very loud group next door who were out on their front porch until about 2am, preventing us from sleeping. The room was expensive for what it is, but that’s to be expected in the summertime for that area.

Great location, scenic and conveniently located for Berkshire attractions. Host was proactive and communicative and everything was as expected!

Would definitely stay here again. Quiet, clean, hosts were responsive and friendly.

Positive: Nice room, decent shower. I like that they provided coffee. Good supply of towels. Air conditioning worked very well. Negative: Two concerns, one minor, one major: I really wanted to swim in the creek behind the property. I was unable to find access to the water. I was able to see the creek, but that was all. My other concern regards the in room TV. If I wanted to watch a channel, I needed to supply my Amazon login information to download the channel. I would have done it, however, I had no idea if my information would have been Amazon login information would have been deleted. As a result, I never watched the TV. I sent a text message to motel management about this, but I never received a reply. That was a major drawback.

Great stay! We stopped overnight w/kids on a road trip and it was perfect, quick easy and clean. Def check out the roe jan brewery too about 3 min away, so good.

Great stay!

Positive: The motel was very charming and located in a gorgeous setting. We got the Queen suite on the side of the main house and it had a lovely porch where we saw a serenade of fireflies. Well equipped kitchen, SUPER comfortable bed, full sized toiletries. Good renovation of a cute property. Negative: Weirdly there was no mirror at all in the suite. And there is no person on site for issues, though the management company was responsive via text and phone call.

Positive: Very clean, with a fun, industrial vibe in the room. Very comfortable bed. Good communication about how to get into the room when arriving late. Was a very nice stay. Negative: Nothing…

Charming cabin in the woods.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at the Brooks. The hosts are friendly and responsive. They responded quick and at all hours of the night. Only some rooms have certain amenities, such as a microwave, so specify any equipment you may need during your stay. The area was breathtaking as well. Though it is beautiful, it is difficult to get anywhere without a car. The hosts did help us find taxi services nearby when our car was not available. Overall, they helped create a memorial experience for me and my boyfriend and turned a difficult situation into a happy one. Thank you!

Fantastic experience from start to finish ! Hosts were very helpful, responsive and accommodating. Unit was exactly as pictured and we found it much nicer in person, almost an “industrial chic” aesthetic that was pleasing. Covered porch area with seating before you walk in. Inside unit had a mini fridge, coffee maker, coffee and drinking glasses, iron and board with ample desk space. Quality towels and bed linens that were crisp and bright. Also offered slippers. Bed was VERY comfortable. AC worked great. I’m in the cleaning industry – this place was PRISTINE and clean! The grounds were well kept, very beautiful and private yet very safe. We ate at several local restaurants and the food was delicious. You’re close enough to highways but far enough away for a nice escape. Highly recommended to others. I will definitely be back. Thank you Brooks for setting a high standard for short term rentals. 🥂

Easy location and comfy beds. Parking lot frustrating as guests took up each other’s spots. Otherwise great!
