Was a great option for the price. Basic but comfortable accommodations with extremely responsive and accommodating hosts. The beds were comfortable, the room clean but overall could use some touch ups and light maintenance.
Would stay again if in the area and was looking for similar types of accommodations

Positive:
Location of the motel is great (20 min from Hudson, 20 from Great Barrington). The size of the room was great, especially considering we brought our dog as well. The room was pretty much as pictured, so I appreciate that it’s a “what you see is what you get” situation.
Negative:
There was definitely not enough light in the room, it was much too dim. I didn’t love the sink being outside of the bathroom, but it’s not a deal breaker for me. Because it’s so cold in the winter, it would have been great if the area where the bed was had a carpet/rug underneath just like the TV area and an extra mat in the bathroom (floor is painted concrete). It also seems like the rooms could use a little bit of updating.

the brooks a very very clean accommodating establishment. Hillsdale is a nice town with restaurants within 1 mile. our stay was peacefully and enjoyable. our dog Mason enjoyed playing fetch in the large grass field behind buildings

Took more than 30 mins to get the host to respond after got a hold of Airbnb . Very cold and frustrating during the cold night . Code did not work and had to use a different code to get in. Very upset about the experience for check in

Easy Check-in/Check-out, Super close and convenient to Catamount. Plenty of room and great to have the kitchenette.

Very cool place. Clean, efficient, well placed for spending time in both the Berkshires and the Hudson Valley. The electronic check-in arrangements were great.

I wouldn’t stay here. My mom suffered cardiac arrest and DIED. But their only help was a partial refund minus 15% ONLY if someone books my same room. There were only 3 people in the whole place. What were the odds anyone would just happen to book my room.

My stay was for a quiet night away with my pup and boy did the Brooks Motel deliver. The suite was spacious enough to not feel cramped but small enough to feel cozy and warm. All amenities were as described, self check in was super easy and the owners were very friendly and communicative. I will return and would recommend.

We loved the hotel - the kitchen was missing a few things like dish soap, towels- to wash the dishes but I’m sure they are still working thru some kinks
The bed was so comfy!! Loved that we could bring our pups!

We had a fantastic 2 nights in the Exceptional Suite @ The Brooks! We were stoked that they allowed our dog to come along for a small reasonable fee, plenty of space to walk him along the creek. The bed and pillows, arguably the most important part, were well invested into and felt like a dream. We were missing a few things but, those things you can look past when you support a vision like this! I plan to return and can't wait to see how it evolves!
